ALLOCATION AND LIFTING OF RICE
Govt. of India are allotting the following quantities of rice

The present requirement of rice under PDS is 1,94,543 MTs. and
rice under APL allotment is being lifted to the tune of 85,053 MTs. from FCI
every month to meet the over and above requirement under PDS.
ALLOTMENT AND LIFTING OF RICE UNDER WHEAT BASED NUTRITION PROGRAMME ( WBNP)
Government of India allotted MTs.25629 of rice under Wheat based
Nutrition Programme for the year 2003-04 for release to anganwadi workers at BPL
cost and the same is being released at Rs.4.00 per Kg.
ALLOTMENT AND LIFTING OF RICE NNM FOR RELEASE TO PREGNANT, LACTATING WOMEN AND ADOLESCENT GIRLS
Government of India allotted MTs 22100 of rice at BPL cost for
the year 2003-04 as a pilot project in Mahabubnagar (MTs.12900) and Adilabad
(MTs.9200) for release of the same at free of cost to pregnant, lactating women
and adolescent girls and the entire quantity has been lifted from FCI and
releases are under progress
ALLOTMENT AND LIFTING OF RICE UNDER SAMPOORNA GRAMINA ROZGAR YOJANA
(Special Component)
For the year 2003-04, Government of India allotted 18.20 lakh
tonnes and the entire quantity has been lifted from FCI.
ALLOTMENT AND LIFTING OF RICE UNDER SAMPOORNA GRAMINA ROZGAR YOJANA
(STEAM-I&II)
For the year 2003.04,a quantity of MTs.2,26,648 has been allotted
and the same has been completely lifted.In addition, GOI allotted a quantity of
58,528 MTs. of rice towards 25% balance allotment. Against this, so far a
quantity of 54,269 MTs. has been lifted. |
