Administration
The Vice-Chairman & Managing Director is the Chief Executive of the Corporation. At the Corporate Office, he is
assisted by 4 General Managers for Finance, Admin & Vigilance, Public Distribution system and Marketing respectively, an Executive Engineer and 5 Managers viz PDS, Admin, Accounts, Marketing and Audit.
The Corporation has District Offices in all
the Districts in the State. They are managed by the District Managers of the
rank of Deputy Collector. The Corporation Officers are only presently working as
District Managers.
The District Managers Maintain close liaison with
the District Administration with regard to distribution of essential
commodities like rice, wheat, palmolein oil and levy sugar. They are placed
under the administrative control of the Joint Collectors in districts and CRO in Hyderabad, who are nominated
as Ex-Officio Executive Directors of the Corporation.
Apart from above Functional Heads at the Head Office
and the District Managers at District level, there are eight Zonal Managers
who are responsible for internal audit and close supervision of the
activities in the District under their zone viz Vizag, Kakinda, Vijayawada, Karimnagar, Nalgonda, Kurnool and Kadapa.
The District Managers are assisted by one
Assistant Manager (Accounts) in charge of the office accounts and one
Assistant Manager (General) incharge of Administration & Warehousing who looks after office administration, warehousing and movement etc., Assistant Manager (Technical) incharge of movement and quality control aspects.
The Zonal Managers are also assisted by three Assistant Managers Accounts, General and Technical in each region to coordinate with the functioning of the districts. |
